The news spark yesterday in social about Maegan Aguilar, the singer and daughter of folk musician Freddie Aguilar who had allegedly beaten up by her live-in partner.
The news came out after her friend Maria Silorio (Rapper) shared on Facebook several photos of Megan while in a stretcher with neckbrace. In her status she posted:
It can be remembered that singer went public against her father due to physical, mental and emotional abuse she allegedly suffered from the at the hands of the Pinoy music legend (ABS-CBN).

"My Bestfriend Maegan Comet Aguilar received this nasty beating as a "parting gift" from her live-in partner when she firmly tried to end their relationship.Freddie Aguilar camp had no statement so far regarding the incident.
"Ali is an alcoholic that often reaches a violent black out state & beats up my friend & threatens her life.
"Hindi daw po agad-agad nagpa-blotter or nagsumbong si Ate Maegan sa barangay o sa pulis dahil ayaw nya pong lumabas itong parte ng buhay nya sa publiko.
"Pero ito pong huling insidente ay nagdulot po talaga ng kritikal na kalagayan sa kanya.
"Sa ngayon po mukhang dislocated ang right arm ni Ate Maegan at kitang-kita din po na lamog sa bugbog at pasa ang likod at hips nya dahil sa pagtilapon sa kanya ni Kuya Ali ng magpumilit itong umuwi sa condo ni Ate kaninang 2:45am."
