The results of November 29-30, 2015 nursing board exam known as nurse licensure examination (NLE) is expected to be released in 25-33 working days after the last exam date.

According to PRC, the target date of release of NLE results is on Saturday, January 16, 2016. The big day falls in 48 calendar days or in 29 working days after the last day of exam. The computed number of working days excludes Saturdays, Sundays and 5 holidays from December 2015 to January 2016.

The recent NLE was conducted in various testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio City, Laoag, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) and Bacolod.

During the two-day Nursing Board Exam, examinees answered the following subjects: Nursing Practice I (Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice), Nursing Practice II (Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child), Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations-Part A), Nursing Practive IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations-Part B) and Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations-Part C).

The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensur exam are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Perla G. Po, Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza and Florence C. Cawaon, Members.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
