The following areas had declared suspension of on Monday in anticipation of the impact of severe tropical storm 'Carina'.
Isabel City - Elementary and High School Classes, Public and Private
Abra - all levels in entire province
Benguet - all levels in Mankayan municipality
Cagayan - preschool throughout the province, all levels in the following towns:
Carina' intensified further into a severe tropical storm and made landfall in Cagayan province on Sunday afternoon , state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 11:00 a.m. weather bulletin on Sunday.
'Carina' is expected to make landfall over Cagayan on Sunday afternoon and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Monday morning.
