Fear and family pressure. This is what has led former TV actor and singer Jay-R Siabo (or Eduardo Siaboc, Jr. in real life) to surrender to police in Toledo City, Cebu on Tuesday after Oplan Tokhang was conducted.
According to Bombo Radyo report, the Toledo City Police chief P/Supt. Samuel Mina, confirmed that Siaboc voluntarily surrender at their office accompanied by his wife.
In the tactical interrogation the singer alleged denied he's pushing drugs and pointed out he decided to surrender for security reasons.
However, police authorities aim to conduct further investigation to validate the intelligence report that Siaboc is not only a plain user.
Jay-R Siaboc was born on January 21, 1987 where he was raised by his father Eduardo Siaboc, Sr. The youngest of five siblings, Siaboc grew up having not much. He was forced to quit school in order to help out his parents.
He started as a student of Pinoy Dream Academy and became a first runner-up next to the grand star dreamer Yeng Constantino.
Jay-r's most popular hits are "Hiling, "May tama din ako" and a lot more.
