PDEA is now Hiring Drug Enforcement Officers (DEO) for 2019

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is now accepting applicants for male and female Drug Enforcement Officers. The recruitment announcement was posted at PDEA Academy Recruitment FB page today, January 10, 2019.

Interested applicants shall take qualifying exams and neuropsychological evaluation exam.

Successful PDEA recruits shall have an entry Salary Grade of eleven or P20,754 per month and plantilla position of Intelligence Officer 1 in the government service.

Q: Is there a quota?
A: We do not have a set quota. If you submit the complete documentary requirements and pass the screening and all exams, you are assured of a slot for the training at the PDEA Academy in Silang, Cavite.

Q: When is the deadline for the submission of requirements?
A: There is no set deadline as of this time, but the sooner you submit the requirements, the better.

Q: When is the exam?
A: Target month for the qualifying exams is January or February 2019.

Q: Where do we send the requirements?
A: There are three (3) ways you can send in your documents:
- Walk-in submission at any PDEA regional office near you (e.g., PDEA Regional Office VII at Doña Modesta Gaisano St., Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City, 6000)
- Through courier (e.g., LBC, 2Go, JRS) to PDEA Academy at Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite 4118
- Through pdeadeo1711@yahoo.com

Q: Is the NAPOLCOM PNP entrance eligibility accepted?
A: Any of the following is accepted: (1) Career Service Professional Eligibility, (2) Bar/Board Eligibility, (3) and Honor Graduate Eligibility.

PNP entrance eligibility, fire officer eligibility, penology officer eligibility, barangay official eligibility, and others equivalent to a first-level eligibility are not accepted.

Q: How much is the starting salary?
A: Salary Grade 11 (P20,754, based on the final tranche of the Salary Standardization law of 2015). Currently, PDEA is working on a proposal for the increase of DEOs' salary.
