Watch : Alledged 'BIFF member' answers cellphone of cop died in Maguindanao Encounter

A man claiming to be a member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters answered the mobile phone of one of the policemen killed in the Mamapasano , Maguindanao ,GMA News report said.

In a recorded conversation, the alleged BIFF member told the brother of the slain PO1 Romeo Cempron that most of the belongings of the members of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force in the "misencounter" were stolen, including their mobile phones.

The BIFF member said the PNP-SAF had no right to enter their territory.




"Hindi namin gusto pumatay ng tao, pero 'pag may naglaban sa amin 'yon ang gagawin namin," he said.

On Sunday, January 25, around 300 SAF commandos entered Mamasapano town in Maguindanao, in pursuit of a Malaysian bomb maker Zulkifli Bin Hir better known as “Marwan” and Basit Usman, both are high value targets, each with a bounty of 5 million US dollars on their head.
