Scared of Duterte ,40 Drug Pushers Voluntarily Surrender to Authorities

Butuan City, PH - Due to massive anti-drug campaign of president-elect Rodrigo Duterte over 40 suspected drug pushers voluntarily surrendered in the mining town of Surigao Del Notrte.

The suspects sworn not to involved with illegal drug trade again.


In a report published by BomboRadyo on June 8, the chief of police of Placer Municipal Police Station, C/Insp. Manolito Parazo told that the suspects personally themselves to the Mayor-elect Michael Jose PatiƱo.

 Parazo said that out of 40, 12 of them can be consiered as big time drug pushers in the said town and most them were residents of  Barangay Poblacion, Magsaysay, and Sta. Cruz.

The chief added that the arrested individuals were given second chance and forewarned they might be killed if they will resist arrest.

 Meanwhile, john Glen Arao-arao, 35, considered by the police to be “the most wanted carnapper in Cebu City” despite having stolen only one vehicle, said he feared for his life under the presidency of Rodrigo Duterte.

According to Sunstar report, Arao-arao voluntarily surrendered to the Investigation and Detective Management Branch (IDMB) Friday night at Pier 1 in Cebu City.

Arao-arao said he panicked when Duterte was elected. Duterte won on a campaign promise to go after criminals to bring back peace and order in the country. The latter said her he had voted for Sen. Grace Poe because Duterte scared him.

Arao-arao is listed as the number one car thief in Oplan Lambat-Sibat in Cebu City.
