Career Opportunities FOR RESERVIST
The Philippine Navy (PN) Reserve Force is an important part of the nation's defense. It is made up of Filipinos who volunteered to be of service to the country. They are ready to step up to any challenges - if and when the country needs them. Being part of the PN Reserve Force has the same prestige as being in the Regular Force in serving the country. It is an ideal option for those who have always wanted to respond to the call of duty for the country but cannot take up the military profession full-time.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
General Qualifications for Commission in the PN Reserve Force (Reservist Officer)
- Age must not be less than twenty-one (21) years nor more than sixty-four (64) years of age at the time of appointment as a reserve officer.
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- Must pass the physical examination standards conducted by an authorized AFP hospital or civilian / government hospital. Physical examination report to be validated by the Major Service Chief Surgeons / The Surgeon General.
- Baccalaureate degree holder with at least four (4) years of study.
- Pre-entry training graduate (Basic ROTC / Basic Citizen Military Training / Military Orientation Training for PN Affiliated Reserve Unit).
- Cleared by Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, J2 or Major Service 2s.
Documentary Requirements for Commission in the PN Reserve Force
Note: All documents must be placed in one (1) original folder and four (4) photocopied folders with red tabbing.
- Duly Accomplished Application Form (fill up the required information, do not leave blank; write not applicable).
- Affidavit of No Pending Case (form to be filled up and duly notarized).
- Whole body picture (Postcard Size - uniform of the current position and/or business attire).
- Personal Data Sheet or Resume (with 2x2 picture, white background in uniform of current position and properly signed).
- NSO Birth Certificate (original copy).
- Board Certificate / Board Rating / PRC License or AFPSAT (authenticated by school registrar).
- Sea Service Record / Certificate of Employment (original copy).
- Medical / Dental Examination Report (from private hospital should be validated by AFP hospital. Requirements for VALIDATION OF PHYSICAL EXAM RESULTS: Neuro Psychiatric Exam signed by Psychiatrist, IQ test, Dental Exam from AFP Dental Clinic, EENT Exam, Laboratory Exam, ECG and X-RAY Exam). Note: Submission of Medical / Dental exam report shall already validated by AFP hospital. Secure directive from NRMC or NRCens prior validation to AFP hospital.
- Command Clearance (Personal History Clearance, Barangay Clearance, Mayor Clearance, Police Clearance, NBI Clearance, MTC and RTC Clerances) Note: Requirements to be submitted at O/NR2 or NRCens in One (1) original folder and Two (2) phoyocopies with red tabbing.

- Age of the applicant must not be less than eighteen (18) years nor more than sixty-four (64) years of age at the time of Enlistment.
- Applicant must be a Filipino citizen.
- Pre-entry training graduate (Basic ROTC / Basic Citizen Military Training / Military Orientation Training for PN Affiliated Reserve Unit).
- No criminal record.

Note: All documents must be placed in two (2) photocopied folders with red tabbing. Original must be presented during the submission of the documents.
- Accomplished Reservist Information Data Sheet (fill up the information required, do not leave blank; write not applicable).
- Basic / Advance ROTC Certificate.
- Transcript of Records and Diploma.
- PRC License (if any)
- NSO Birth Certificate
- Birth Certificate
