AFP Opens Candidate Soldier Course for 2019

As announced by the Army Recruitment Office (Luzon Branch), the command will start the processing of the recruitment of Candidate Soldier for CY 2019. Interested and qualified applicants
are advised to register at Hqs, 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, Philippine Army, Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija from December 10 to 14, 2018.
Take note, only single male and female applicants are qualified to join the Candidate Soldier Course.
FOLLOWING ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDATES SOLDIERS:
1. Priority candidates in filling-up the CS quota:
a. Qualified professionals:
b. A graduate of MS43 and Advance ROTC:
c. College Graduate:
d. With 72 units and up in college/K-12 Graduate: and
e. High School graduate but possessing technical/vocational skills needed by the AFP.
2. Basic criteria & qualification for acceptance and selection of CS applicants:
a. Natural born Filipino citizen:
b. At least 18 to 25 years old and must not be 26 years old or older on or before the date of appointment as candidate soldier. Age waiver is no longer issued by the Command;
c. At least 5’0 or 60 inches in height (Male/Female). Similarly, Height waiver is no longer issued by the Command:
d. Single/never been married and has no legal obligation to support a child;
e. Of good moral character:
f. AFPSAT score of at least 45;
g. Must have passed the pre-qualifying PFT and PME;
h. Physical and mentally training: and
i. Be able to comply with all necessary documents.
