Alleged 'Live Worms' Spotted by Consumer in Century Tuna Product

A customer named Normiah T. Wahab which based from her facebook profile a resident of Quezon City posted a complain on facebook against Century Tuna after they found out shocking ingredients on it.

According to Mrs. Wahab, her husband is about to cook (sauté) Century Tuna when they allegedly spotted live white worms feasting on it.

Sino mahilig nito , kami mahilig kami sa delata yong mga century tuna . Pero ngyon igigisa sana to ng husby ko . Mabuti nalang napansin niyang parang andaming nagsswimming hehe tngnan niyo ung mga puti na yan gumagalaw galaw nagsswimming ..akala ko expired na tiningnan ko matagal pa expiration date nya .nakakawala ng gana kumain .

 “I thought it was already expired but when I checked, the expiration date still not on due yet..loss my appetite then", she added in Filipino dialect.
Based on the photo she uploaded, the said product is indeed from Century Tuna (Bangus with Tausi) however, the complainant failed to capture the expiration date as proof. She did not disclose as well the information of where they purchased it.


As of this posting the photos was already removed by the original uploader but it has gone viral already in social media. Photos were, re-uploaded here.

For fair reporting we already contacted Century Tuna for investigation but no return yet from their end.
